EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Overview

The Educultural Foundation has developed and implemented many innovative programs throughout Northern California. Locations for our programs include schools in the cities of Vallejo, Healdsburg, Fairfield-Suisun, and Willits that serve some of our most underserved youth and their families.

In partnership with the Solano, Mendocino, Humboldt, and Sonoma County School Districts, our programs that revolve around music and the visual and performing arts have been a crucial response to cutbacks in the arts and music education curricula within California’s public schools.

Under President/Executive Director Dr. Virginia Lea, and Program/Artistic Director Babatunde Lea, the Educultural Foundation’s programs continue to offer experience in the arts, as well as opportunities in cultural understanding, social awareness, academic and economic development, and community activism, in K-12 academic levels, colleges and universities, businesses, and other institutions in our communities.
